The Professional Collection is part of Library Services Central Library located at the Coorparoo Education Precinct.
It supports informed corporate governance, evidence-based decision making, policy making, strategic planning, professional communities, inclusive education and disability services.
Services are provided through the Information Desk at the Library. These include information requests, lending services, interlibrary loans and training.
The collection consists of more than 40,000 items includes books and journals. Search our online catalogue (new window) of resources. Journal issues are not available for loan but you may request copies of articles.
Select lists of professional resources allow quick access to resources on topics of current interest. All items listed are accessible online or through the Library services.
DETA staff serving the Education Portfolio, Training Queensland staff (excluding TAFE Institute personnel) and staff at schools registered with Central library are eligible to register with, and borrow from the Professional Collection. Membership incorporates the Curriculum and Professional collections.
