Registration Teachers
Action 1 of the Literacy-the Key to Learning: Framework for Action 2006-2008 states: 'Conduct professional development conferences and workshops with a focus on literacy, including literacy in the curriculum.'
Professional Development sessions commenced for Years 1-3 teachers in July 2007. Prep teachers will commence professional development in semester 2, 2008. Further sessions will be held for Years 4-6 teachers later in the 2008-09 financial year. Catch up sessions for teachers will continue throughout the implementation of the Literacy Framework.
