This course covers the attributes and educational applications of online learning. Planning for and developing an online learning experience in the form of a course, unit or collaborative project is the primary focus. It brings together information technology and telecommunications with constuctivist teaching and learning strategies. Through the use of communication tools, which allow these concepts to be embedded in the learning experience, teachers will be able to develop courses or learning experiences that assist students to become actively involved and committed to meaningful learning.
