Anatomy of the Brain' is the first module of the 'Learning to Learn with the Brain in Mind' course. The modules are stand alone and each has a different focus. The aim of the first module is to develop an understanding of brain anatomy, brain function and how to use this information to show students how to be more effective and efficient learners. The module will involve your active participation in a range of activities. You will: conduct conversations by email and synchronous chat exchange experiences through teleconference and skype link ups participate in formal chat sessions and informal blogs contribute to and read from threaded discussion boards synthesise your ideas from online materials join in with online games contribute resources and ideas on the discussion board. *** A cancellation fee of 50% of the course fee will apply one week after the course starts
