When in Queensland government schools, most international students live with a Queensland family in homestay accommodation.
Students over the age of 14 must live in homestay accommodation if not residing with a close relative for the duration of their study program.
The Queensland Government has very high homestay standards, ensuring:
There is an international student coordinator and/or homestay coordinator in each school who organises and monitors homestay accommodation for international students.
