Quality Assurance System

Queensland leads Australia in designing and implementing the most comprehensive quality assurance (QA) system for providing educational services to international students. The QA system provides benchmarks, review procedures and accreditation on aspects such as:

• teaching practices
• staffing
• school management
• accommodation
• health and safety
• student counselling and guidance
• facilities

Only a select group, 46 out of approximately 300 Queensland government schools, have achieved accreditation to accept international students and deliver primary and high school study programs.

School Facilities

Queensland schools offer extensive resources to further enhance and support innovative learning in today's fast-paced world. These include:

• school subjects which incorporate online learning as a complementary facet for providing challenging and stimulating education
• computer laboratories linked to university libraries for access to a wealth of study resources
• recording studios and video-conferencing facilities; multi-media and photographic laboratories; and
• business education centres featuring state of the art technology
