The International Projects Unit (IPU) draws on the resources and expertise of the Department of Education and the Arts to provide tailored services to our offshore clients.
Educational programs and projects managed by the IPU are generally funded through our clients. These clients include private investors, consortiums and international development agencies such as the Asian Development Bank
or AusAid
.
Our programs are delivered either independently or in association with partner organisations.
The IPU provides an innovative and personalised service. As a flexible, internationally focused unit we are able to respond to the needs of our professional, institutional, industry and community clients. IPU's project consulting services operates within an internationally recognised Quality Assurance system. This system of quality ensures that business, human resource and consulting services on offer include financial management systems which are compliant with whole of government regulations.

The Unilearn University Foundation Program (Unilearn) is designed to provide the necessary skills, especially English language, to gain entry to and successfully study at an Australian tertiary institution. This program is delivered at offshore sites around the world.
The Year 10 Offshore program offers students the opportunity to gain an international education experience while living in their home country by undertaking Queensland Year 10 in a local school. Students who complete this program have the opportunity to complete years 11 and 12 in Queensland.
