2008 Next Step Regional Briefing Sessions

The results of the 2008 Next Step survey were presented at 12 regional briefing sessions around the state from 8-19 September 2008.

For the first time in 2008, the briefing sessions also included preliminary results from the Next Step longitudinal study of Year 12 completers from 2005. Results from the second wave of the longitudinal survey were presented in conjunction with the 2008 Next Step data.

The briefing sessions were tailored to the findings for each local statistical division, and presented by researchers from the Centre for Post-compulsory Education and Lifelong Learning at the University of Melbourne.
