The results of the 2006 Next Step survey were presented at 13 regional briefing sessions around Queensland from 11-22 September 2006.
School principals and representatives of higher education and training organisations, as well as other interested parties from the community, business, and industry sectors attended the briefing sessions. The content of the sessions were tailored to the findings for each local statistical division and presented by Professor Jack Keating from the Centre of Post-compulsory Education and Lifelong Learning at the University of Melbourne.
