Healthy competition

24 August 2009

The State Government and Cherish the Children Foundation have joined forces to reward outstanding programs that promote participation in physical activity and/or healthy eating within Queensland schools.

The Cherish the Children Eat Well Be Active Challenge aims to raise awareness and inspire others to a healthier, more active lifestyle.

By entering, the winning school can receive up to $10,000 and two runner-up schools will receive $5000 for initiatives that encourage healthier food choices or increase physical activity.

Nominations close on September 18.
