Get well with ACHPER

School staff and community members are encouraged to become 'school wellness coordinators' thanks to the Australian Council for Health, Physical Education and Recreation (ACHPER) Qld.

Throughout August, ACHPER Qld will host wellness workshops for schools in Cairns, Townsville, Bundaberg, Warwick, the Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast.

The two-day workshops are free of charge. Participants will learn how to develop a whole-of-staff wellness strategy and facilitate appropriate wellness activities.

ACHPER Qld will supply post-workshop support including resources to help facilitate ongoing wellness activities in your school.
