Best-selling author John Marsden has thrown his support behind a literary competition for young writers.
Budding young novelists, poets and short story writers under the age of 25 are invited to enter the John Marsden Prize for Young Australian Writers. By doing so they can share in $4500 prize money and the chance of publication.
Run by Express Media, the John Marsden Prize for Young Australian Writers is judged by the author, who has donated the cash prize.
Winning entries will be published in Express Media's literary quarterly, Voiceworks. Applications close on August 28.
