Student writers rule
June 2009
Young Brisbane writers have been invited to tell the world how it would be if they were in charge and win prizes for themselves and their school.
The 2009 Baci Lounge International Short Story Competition is open to primary school students in the Greater Brisbane region who must submit a handwritten, 500-word story on the theme, If I ruled the world...
Winners will each receive an mp3 player and more than $2500 in books will be donated to their school library.
Winning stories will also be published on the Baci Lounge website. Entry is free and limited to one story per student.
Entries close on July 10. For more information, go to the Baci Lounge website
