More than 3500 state school students are gearing up to take centre stage as part of Queensland's biggest birthday party and every teacher and student is invited to attend.

Creative Generation - State Schools Onstage performers

Get in quickly to secure your tickets to this year's Creative Generation - State Schools Onstage.

Preparations are well under way for two show-stopping performances of Creative Generation - State Schools Onstage 2009 at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre in June.

Described as a kaleidoscope of colour, action and talent, the state's largest variety show will headline Q150 Queensland Day celebrations.

For the first time, students will sing, dance and make music on the same stage as some of the world's biggest acts.

In another first, Queensland state schools will be able to buy tickets to the performances through an official group ticket order form - giving teachers, parents and students access to the best seats, while limiting additional transaction fees.

This offer is for a limited time only, with schools receiving the forms as soon as tickets go on sale.

Tickets will also be available through Ticketek external page (will open in a new window) or by phoning 132 849.

The cost is $39 for adults, $29 for concessions and $24 for children (aged 2 to 14 years), with performances set for June 6 at 1.30 pm and 7 pm.
