Queensland teachers and students can get an insight into the resources sector at the new Blackwater International Coal Centre.
The centre showcases the Australian coal industry and provides an interactive learning experience for students of all ages.
It incorporates an education and community centre, exhibition space, and a big-screen cinema.
The centre has also developed four curriculum resources for Years 6 to 9 covering topics such as mining and the future of coal.
