Health and physical education teachers are invited to apply for funding to attend an international physical education conference later this year.

The Australian Council for Health, Physical Education and Recreation (ACHPER) International Conference will be held in Brisbane from July 8 to 10.

Twenty scholarships are available for state school teachers in regional and remote areas of Queensland to attend the event.

The scholarships are valued at $280 each and are to assist teachers with their conference registration. Applications close April 9.
