Flying the flag ... One of the winning entries from last year's Visions of Australia flag project. Entries for this year's competition are now open.
Entries are now open in the Visions of Australia flag project, which offers teachers a creative way to explore Australia Day with their students.
This year, primary school students are asked to interpret their favourite line from the national anthem as a drawing on the back of specially prepared flags.
Finished designs will go on display at Australia Day events across the state.
One winning entry from each of the lower, middle and upper primary school categories will receive a digital camera.
Entries close November 10.
