School groups are encouraged to visit the State Library of Queensland's new exhibition of 250 works showcasing the shaping of Australia's modern-day cosmopolitan culture.
Modern times: the untold story of modernism in Australia
explores the transformation of all aspects of life in Australia over five decades, from 1917 to 1967.
The exhibition includes more than 250 works of art, animation, fashion, design, film, photography and architecture.
A children's trail and brochure
has been developed for students in the middle phase of learning and group tours can be arranged for higher secondary students.
