Stronger, smarter approach to Indigenous schooling

Hundreds of Queensland teachers and education staff gathered in Brisbane last week for the inaugural Stronger Smarter Summit.
The national conference on Indigenous schooling was hosted by the Indigenous Education Leadership Institute in Brisbane from September 28 to 29.
In addition to workshops and panel discussions, the summit featured presentations by Deputy Prime Minister Julia Gillard as well as prominent Indigenous identities Professor Mick Dodson, Tom Calma and Dr Chris Sarra.
