Vacation PD for teachers

Queensland teachers will be able to access quality professional development programs during the school holidays.
Over the next three years all state school teachers in Queensland will have the opportunity to build their literacy, numeracy and science teaching skills during the September and Christmas vacation periods.
The Vacation Based Professional Development for Teachers Initiative is part of the Literacy and Numeracy National Partnership to improve literacy and numeracy standards in Queensland schools.
Teachers in both primary and secondary state schools will be able to access quality professional development programs tailored to help students improve their learning outcomes.
The professional development programs will be delivered at various locations across the state.
Teachers can enquire and register for the professional development, including programs outside their own region, via the Department of Education and Training's intranet.
