Important dates for 2010 Creative Generation

Creative Generation - State Schools Onstage nominations for Year 8 students or students at a new school in 2010 close on Friday February 12. Symphony orchestra and stage band nominations close on Friday February 19.

The concert is one of Queensland's largest performing arts events and hundreds of state school students have already been nominated in performance categories including dance and vocals (featured and massed), choir, drama, cultural and standalone items.

Teachers at participating schools are invited to attend one of two information sessions:

  • Wednesday 17 February - Mansfield State High School 4pm-6pm
  • Thursday 18 February - North Lakes State College 4pm-6pm

A teacher's information book with rehearsal schedules, permission forms and other essential details will be distributed at these meetings.

More than 1,500 students will perform in Creative Generation - State Schools Onstage 2010 which is being staged at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on July 16 and 17.
