Youth Week – get creative and win
7 April 2011

Activities for National Youth Week extend well beyond April 10, with competitions for young people offering chances to get creative for substantial prizes.
Queensland's Own It! Youth Week competition for 12 to 25-year-olds is a chance to express ideas on issues that affect young people and share them with peers.
Using a range of mediums including audio, design, or film, students can have their say on health or social issues, or demonstrate how they are 'owning it' whether through volunteering, travelling the world or following their dreams.
Entries are now open and close on May 31. All approved entries will be displayed in an online gallery and students can comment on competition entries or even vote for their favourite entry.
Nationally, young people are challenged to RockIT, WriteIT, SnapIT, ShootIT or DesignIT in national talent competitions closing on April 17.
