Award nominations are open until Friday March 4 to recognise Queensland's ClimateSmart champions who are showing environmental leadership in schools, business and the community.

Category winners will be announced at the 2011 awards dinner at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on June 10.

Winners will receive $5,000 cash to support ongoing or future sustainability projects.

More information and an online application form can be found on the Department of the Environment and Resource Management website, or by calling 07 3225 1764.
