Schools invited to share stories about anti-bullying day
23 June 2011

Taking a stand ... Sam Pappalardo, Thishan Illankoon, Hani Vu and Sian Jesse from Middle Park State School united against bullying in 2011.
Schools are being asked to share the stories of their 2011 National Day of Action Against Bullying and Violence activities.
The aim is to inspire others to make a difference and prepare for the 2012 national day, to be held on March 16.
Selected contributions will be posted on the Bullying. No way! website, featured in the Bullying. No way! e-bulletin or profiled in local or national media.
Schools just need to complete the Share Your Story feedback form available on the Bullying. No way! website and email their submission to webkeeper@bullyingnoway.com.au.
The first National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence on March 18 this year saw schools show their support in a variety of creative ways and it is these stories which are being sought.
The focus for 2011 national day was bystander behaviour, recognising that all members of the school community have a role to play in addressing bullying.
