School-based Queensland Training Awards regional finalists

Twenty-one of the state's top students are preparing to compete in the regional finals of the Queensland Training Awards.

The regional winners in the school-based vocational education and training (VET) category, chosen from more than 100 nominations statewide, will be announced in a series of regional finals being held across the state throughout July.

Regional winners will be in the running for the state titles announced in Brisbane on September 2. State winners will have the chance to enter the Australian Training Awards to be held in Brisbane in November.

The awards, now in their 50th year, recognise the outstanding vocational education and training achievements of individuals and businesses.
