Queensland Week 2013 sponsorships

Organisations and community groups including parents and citizens' associations have until 31 August to apply for sponsorship to host events during Queensland Week 2013.

Communities can apply for up to $10 000 for their event, with successful applications forming part of the Queensland Government's 2013 Queensland Week celebrations from 1 to 9 June.

Schools are not eligible to apply, but P&Cs may if they can demonstrate wider community benefit and participation in their event.

All communities are being encouraged to start putting together their best Queensland celebration - anything from a concert to a festival, a street parade to a barbecue, or any celebration that is special to that community.
