Educators with an interest in mobile learning (mLearning) and handheld technology in education should investigate the Learning@hand forum being held in Cairns in April.
Hosted by the Indigenous Education and Training Futures division of the Department of Education and Training, Learning@hand will have a special focus on the use of mLearning devices to better engage and support improvements in outcomes for Indigenous students.
Learning@hand will be held at the Cairns Convention Centre on 29 and 30 April and is aimed at school leaders, teachers, Indigenous education workers, teacher aides and others with an interest in mLearning and Indigenous education.
Registrations are open now. For more information visit the Learning@hand webpage or email Indigenous Education and Training. To register visit the forum registration page before 13 April. Discounted earlybird registration closes 16 March.
