Education shows off at Ekka again
June 20 2012
Education on Show is back at the Ekka this year, recognising the works of students and teachers across Queensland.
This year students from Prep to Year 12 have the chance to focus their creative talents on the theme Our Farmers - Our Future.
Cartoons, paintings, picture stories, photography, writing and web designs are all suitable mediums for the Education on Show competition.
In 2011, 939 entries were received from 27 schools, with Education Queensland schools winning three of four categories.
Seven Hills State School was successful in the Years 6-7 category, along with Nashville State School (Years 3-5) and Zillmere State School (Prep-Year 2).
Entries close on 13 July. Further information and entry details are available on the Education on Show website or by contacting the project manager, Carlee Hay.
