SMART CLASSROOMS: Free cybersmart training available

Queensland teachers are being given the chance to advance their understanding of the latest digital tools.
The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) will this year run a series of free one-day Cybersafety workshops in centres across the state.

The workshops will focus on providing teachers with a comprehensive understanding of a modern student's technology profile and digital literacy. Participants will also look at the importance of positive online behaviour, personal and peer safety and the school's and teachers' legal obligations to minimise and address risks.
