Nineteen schools shortlisted for Smart Classrooms Student Film Fest 2010

Dozens of budding Queensland filmmakers have now been identified, with 19 schools making it to the next round of the inaugural Smart Classrooms Student Film Fest.

Open to primary and secondary school-aged students, the competition requires entrants to storyboard and develop short films that capture how technology is transforming teaching and learning in Queensland state schools.

Some schools were shortlisted more than once and therefore received more than one invitation to create their film.

The winning films from each category will be premiered at the Smart Classrooms Teacher Awards gala presentation, to be held at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre on Monday August 16.

For more information, please see the Smart Classrooms Film Fest website.
