The Queensland Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting (QCAR) Framework informs the learning programs for all state school students in Years 1 to 9.
The framework, developed by the Queensland Studies Authority, comprises five inter-related components:
The framework promotes increased consistency across classrooms and continuity across year levels in what is taught and how it is assessed and reported in Queensland schools - a significant step forward for the students and teachers who change schools each year.
