Schools' individual Rural and Remote Education Access Program (RREAP) funding is paid through school grants payments each year. The decision-making for this grants payment is the responsibility of the school and parent organisation within the school. RREAP individual school funding guidelines 429K must be followed in allocating this funding.
SCC funding is paid through the SCC Host School. SCCs are the decision-makers on this funding. Membership on this committee consists of a school principal or their representative and one school parent organisation representative from each school in the cluster. Funding must be spent according to the RREAP SCC funding guidelines 363K.
Community-based organisations working in partnership with RREAP schools to provide extra-curricular programs to school students are to contact your local school for SCC information.
Download the Semester 1 2018 grant summary 150K spreadsheet for payment details for individual schools and clusters. Previous spreadsheets are available at Forms, guidelines and resources.
The Department of Education uses the funding formula 39K to determine schools' eligibility for RREAP funding.
