Agriculture Education Grant

Purpose

The Agriculture Education Grant is paid to secondary schools with an official agriculture department to assist with costs associated with providing an agriculture curriculum.

Allocation of funds

An annual pool of funds is distributed to schools on the basis of 80% of delivery costs and 20% on the basis of subject enrolments.

Current rates

The total pool of funds for 2007 is $571,000.
