Conversion of Staff Resource to Cash - AAEP

Purpose

To assist schools with the ability to convert residual AAEP AO2 FTE allocations to cash.

Eligibility

All State primary and secondary schools.

Allocation of Funds

Cash conversion is calculated on the following basis:

FTE x 41.33 (Permanent FTE to Casual Hours per Week Conversion Factor) x 20 Weeks x AO2/1 Hourly Rate.

AAEP AO2 FTE to cash conversions are undertaken using the AO2 Pay point 1 Hourly Rate (with a casual oncost loading).

Data Requirements

Conversion data is provided each semester by Regional Offices who are responsible for ensuring the conversion amounts are appropriate and accurate.
