Establishment Grant

Purpose

Establishment grants are one-off grants paid for:

pre-opening administration assistance for creation of new school administration systems
Business Education Centres to assist new schools in the provision of resources needed in establishing the facility
New Manual Arts workshops and Home Economic kitchens to assist in the provision of resources needed in establishing the facility
Senior Schooling Grant is paid to new schools, on commencement of Year 11, to assist in the provision of senior schooling programs
Senior Secondary Science - new schools opening years 11 and 12 to assist schools in the provision of resources needed for the delivery of the senior science curriculum
Resource Centres to assist in the establishment of a resource centre and the subsequent purchase of resources
P&C Start-up grants to assist with the establishment of a parents and citizens association at new schools.

Funds are to be used for purchasing resources needed to establish the new facility and delivery of the subject curriculum.
