To assist schools to support Indigenous students to be enrolled, engaged and achieving in school, and progressing at the same rate as non-Indigenous students.

Allocation of funds

An annual budget of $24.2m (2016-2017) is allocated to provide funding to schools on a needs-basis, taking into consideration the socio-educational advantage of a school as well as a school's indigenous student enrolments.
