To assist schools with costs associated with the school review program.
The Department of Education and Training regularly reviews Queensland state schools to ensure they're delivering quality education to students.
All Queensland state schools have a review at least every four years.
There are three main types of school reviews:
State Schools (including IPS, Special and OEEC).
Principal peer reviewers: All Queensland state school principals are invited to be trained as peer reviewers and participate in a full school review. Principal peer reviewers from Band 5, 6 and 7 schools are able to receive assistance with TRS to participate in reviews. Current TRS Rate x Number of Days for the review.
Self-determined reviews: Funding, to a maximum of $4650, is available towards the cost of a self-determined review.
Payments are made on receipt of a claim form and will be made in the next available monthly payment to schools.
