Funds are provided for administrative support in Regional School Sport Offices and for costs involved in teaching staff participation in sports programs.
Administrative Assistance Enhancement Program (AAEP) component is to be used for office administrative support.
Teacher Relief Scheme (TRS) component is to be used to provide release for state school officials participating in QSS championship program.
The AAEP component has no specific acquittal requirements. A TRS component summary is acquitted back to the Queensland School Sports Unit each semester.

AAEP component is based on a sliding scale in relation to the size of a region as follows:
TRS Component allocated on participation rates of regional school sport teams in state championship programs and state team officials in national championships to cover absence from normal school duties.
