Representative School Sports Grants


Funds are provided for administrative support in Regional School Sport Offices and for costs involved in teaching staff participation in representative school sports programs.

Expenditure guidelines

Administrative Assistance Enhancement Program (AAEP) component is to be used for office administrative support within Regional School Sport offices.

Teacher Relief Scheme (TRS) component is to be used to provide release for state school officials participating in the representative QSS program.

The AAEP component has no specific acquittal requirements. A TRS component summary is acquitted annually back to the Queensland School Sports Unit.

Allocation of funds

AAEP component is based on a sliding scale in relation to the size of a sport region as follows:

TRS Component allocated on participation rates of regional school sport teams in state championship events and state team officials in national/international championship events to cover absence from normal school duties.
