School Transport - Escort Payments for Students with Disabilities

Purpose

To reimburse schools for the costs of wages for escorting eligible students with disabilities between home and school

Expenditure guidelines

The Principal Advisor, Education Services, or delegate may authorise the employing of an escort through the assessment process of SMS-PR-009 School Transport Assistance for Students with Disabilities. If wages are involved, schools should pay escorts directly and claim reimbursement from the School Transport Unit through this grant.

No acquittals are required.
