Funding is provided to selected schools for the provision of a chaplaincy/student welfare service.
State schools are required to engage a chaplain/student welfare worker through an Accredited Employing Authority that offers chaplaincy/student welfare services.
Funding can only be used for purposes that are directly related to the provision of a chaplaincy/student welfare service in the school for which funds are provided and the type of service the school was successful in receiving funding for (i.e. chaplaincy or student welfare service).
Schools will be expected to comply with any State or Commonwealth reporting requirements.
The funds have been allocated to the selected schools for the 2015 school year.
State and Non-State Schools
State schools will be paid through GAPS. Non-state schools will be paid through their organisation (QCEC, ISQ). Bi-annual payments.
