Curriculum Support Funding (YNSC)

Funds are provided to implement professional development activities in support of syllabus implementation priorities as described in the 'Professional Development Agenda' each year.

Expenditure guidelines

The school's responsibility is to implement professional development activities as described in guidelines provided from the region.

This is a targeted grant to support curriculum implementation of the priorities each year.

Schools are required to acquit the funds in accordance with guidelines provided from regional office. Grant revenue must be recorded against cost centre YNSC.

Duration of program

This grant is renegotiated each year to account for curriculum priorities and programs.

Eligibility

Schools that have been identified by the region to host or implement syllabus implementation professional development activities.

Form of assistance

Targeted allocations will be directed to regions. Funding to schools will be provided as grants.

Payment details

As determined by each region

Allocation of funds

Allocation of funds to regions is based on teacher numbers with a consideration for distance. Allocation of funds to schools is based on the regional Professional Development Plan.
