In 2013 and 2014, three free Smart Choices Masterclasses were held for tuckshop convenors, volunteers and parent organisation representatives.

In 2012 the Department of Education, Training and Employment, in partnership with NAQ Nutrition and the Queensland Association of School Tuckshops (QAST) delivered a series of Smart Choices workshops across the state.
The workshops provided advice and tips for tuckshop convenors, volunteers, parent organisations and schools on creating healthy tuckshop menus, supplying healthy foods and drinks at sporting and fundraising events and how to successfully market and promote these products.
