Smart Activities for Smart Moves

Integrating physical activity with the Key Learning Areas

Smart Moves - Physical Activity Programs in Queensland State Schools aims to increase student participation in physical activity and to improve the quality of that activity. As part of Smart Moves and as part of active learning environments, schools are encouraged to integrate physical activity with the key learning areas.

The Smart Activities for Smart Moves templates were developed by teachers at the Regional Teacher Workshops in 2008 and display ideas of how to embed physical activity into the broader curriculum.
