Circuits, Relays and Minor Games are 3 types of activities that are quick and easy to organise and will cause an increase in students heart rate and engagement.
Circuits
Circuits are activities that include a number of physical activity stations arranged in a given area. Each 'station' has a different physical activity or task to be completed before the participants' progress to the next station.
Because of the variety of activities, including a circuit in your weekly program can develop fitness and improve co-ordination. Circuits are easy to organise and manage and can be readily modified. All circuits included in the following resource can be adapted for any age level, any area and for whatever equipment is available.

Relays
Relays are an exciting, enjoyable activity for daily physical activity. Large numbers of students can be easily organised and kept active in a relatively small space, either inside or outside.
Minor Games
Minor Games are activities in which students engage in cooperative and collaborative activity, with or without an object, within the structure of certain rules and boundaries. The aim of minor games in daily physical activity is to achieve maximum vigorous activity in a short period of time.
Try a couple of the minor games included in the link. Do them more than once and encourage students to organise the equipment for the game.
