Indigenous strategies

The Indigenous strategies of the Department have been developed in order to highlight to staff the Department's vision and aims in respect of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and employees.

The Partners for Success (P4S) Strategy is Education Queensland's key strategy targeting the improvement of education and employment outcomes for Aboriginal peoples and Torres Strait Islander peoples in Queensland state schools. It was introduced in 2000.

Under P4S, the Bound for Success strategy was introduced in 2005 to target the outcomes of Indigenous students in remote regions of Queensland in the Cape York and Torres Strait Islands.
