Strategy

The purpose of the Partners for Success strategy is to establish a framework for improving the education and employment outcomes of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in Education Queensland.

It acknowledges the persistence of significant and unacceptable gaps between the educational outcomes of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and those of the general population over time and the implications of such outcomes in a world of rapid change and increasing demand for high levels of skill and knowledge.

The strategy also tackles the need to improve the employment profile of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in Education Queensland, to increase the number and visibility of role models for Indigenous young people, and to build on the productive diversity of the Queensland population.
