Filtering

What should you do if you come across a website which contains inappropriate content and needs to be blocked for all EQ schools?

Every school has an appointed MIS Administrator. You can report any suspect URLs to your MIS Administrator. Your MIS Administrator can then submit the URL to the MIS Filtering Officer who will decide if it should be blocked for all EQ schools based on a set of criteria.

What should you do if you come across a website which has inadvertently been caught in the filtering and requires unblocking for all EQ schools?

Every school has an appointed MIS Administrator. You can request a website be unblocked through your MIS Administrator. Your MIS Administrator can then submit the URL to the MIS Filtering Officer who will decide if it should be unblocked for all EQ schools based on a set of criteria.

What should you do if you would like to block access to a particular URL for your school only?

Every school has an appointed MIS Administrator. You can request a website be blocked for your school only through your MIS Administrator. The MIS Administrator can add the URL to your Schools Filters List through the Administration tools in the MIS Portal.
