All seven schools were built in two stages, and they feature energy efficient measures that have achieved a four-star Greenstar rating Microsoft® Word document1.8M from the Green Building Council of Australia. Part of the requirement for achieving a four-star Greenstar rating is to put on public display the Wetlands Management Plan for the Peregian Springs site Adobe PDF document112K due to its proximity to adjacent wetlands. In addition, while there was no requirement to complete a Wetlands Management Plan for the Bellbird Park and East Coomera sites, there are wetlands in the vicinity of both sites.
