Guiding Booklists
The 2008 booklists have been carefully structured to include books that have been reviewed by Library Services for suitability for P-12 curriculum. There are many other titles including popular series that have not been reviewed.
The books cover a range of subject matters, genres, authors and fiction and non-fiction options. The reading levels targeted within the lists are broad and overlap to reflect the range of ability that exists within year levels.
Each year, a new guiding booklist is created for the Challenge. However, previous year's lists can also be used. Remember, all booklists are a guide only. Participants are able to read any books they wish.
