Schools are required to provide a School Annual Report to their community. The Annual Reporting Policy for all Queensland Schools and accompanying guidelines have recently been updated and can be accessed online by schools. The policy (or checklist) incorporates both the Queensland Government and Australian Government annual reporting requirements for schools.
The School Annual Report must appear on the school's website, and be published in one other format. The format for the additional method of publication is at the discretion of the school, but may be for example published in hard copy, or included in newsletters or handbooks, or on noticeboards or signs. For state schools, additional mandated reporting requirements for publication to those detailed in the checklist, are specified in the state school reporting template. To assist state schools to meet the mandatory publishing deadline of 30 June, all state schools will be provided with a pre-populated School Annual Report Template and general instructions for completing and uploading the completed are provided below.
