Schools are required to provide a School Annual Report to their community. The Annual Reporting Policy 87K for all Queensland Schools can be accessed online by schools.
The policy sets out the minimum annual reporting requirements for all state and non-state schools.
The School Annual Report for the previous year must be made publicly available on the internet for a minimum of 12 months, and schools are to make arrangements to provide the information, on request, to a parent, carer or a person who is responsible for a student at the school and is unable to access the internet.

The School Annual Report is to be published by 30 June of each year. Following the release of the Next Step report, post-school destinations information for Year 12 completers is to be published by 30 September of each year.
Schools may use their own format to publish this information however state schools are required to publish all the information contained in the State school reporting template. The policy represents the minimum information schools are required to publish; schools may add any additional material. In reporting information, principals should be aware of privacy and data interpretation issues.
