Schools are required to provide a School Annual Report to their community. The Annual Reporting Policy
219k for all Queensland Schools can be accessed online by schools.
The policy, which is presented as a checklist, has been approved by the Minister and sets out the minimum annual reporting requirements for all state and non-state schools. Education Queensland, Independent Schools Queensland and the Queensland Catholic Education Commission have endorsed the Policy.
The School Annual Report for the previous program year is to be made publicly available on the internet for a minimum of 12 months, and schools are to make arrangements to provide the information, on request, to a parent, carer or a person who is responsible for a student at the school and is unable to access the internet.
For state schools, additional mandated reporting requirements for publication to those detailed in the checklist, are specified in the state school reporting template. To assist state schools to meet the mandatory publishing deadline of 30 June, all state schools will be provided with a pre-populated School Annual Report Template and general instructions for completing and uploading the completed template are provided below.
